Press release – “PNRR: Funds for a modern and reformed Romania”

“CHILD’S HEART” FOUNDATION, CUI 9076002, headquartered in Galați Municipality, Dunărea Boulevard, no. 3, block A8, ground floor, Galați County, Romania, announces the start of the project with the TITLE “Innovation for Good Through Digitalization”, according to the financing contract no. 806/i9/c7 of 23.06.2025, financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Component C7. DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION, Investment I9. DIGITALISATION OF THE NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS SECTOR, Call DIGITALISATION OF THE NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS SECTOR.

The general objective of this project is to modernize and digitize the “Child’s Heart” Foundation, so that it becomes more efficient and more beneficiary-oriented by using technology and improving the digital skills of employees.

The specific objectives of the project include:

1. Purchase and implementation of IT equipment: The NGO will purchase IT equipment such as laptops, PCs and printers to modernize its technological infrastructure and provide staff with the necessary tools to carry out their activities efficiently.
2. Organization of digital skills courses: Courses and trainings will be organized for employees to improve their digital skills and to familiarize them with new technologies and tools used in the foundation’s daily work.
3. Implementation of customer and interdepartmental relationship programs: The foundation will invest in software solutions for customer relationship management (CRM) and to facilitate communication and collaboration between the different departments of the organization.
4. Digitalization of organizational processes: Digital tools and platforms will be introduced to digitize and automate the organization’s internal processes, such as document management, reporting, planning and project monitoring.
5. Increasing organizational efficiency and transparency: By modernizing the technological infrastructure and improving the digital skills of employees, the “Inima de Copil” Foundation aims to become more efficient, reduce administrative costs and provide higher quality services to its beneficiaries.

The total value of the project is 365,608.52 lei, of which the maximum eligible non-refundable value is 346,875.89 lei.

The project will be implemented between 27.06.2025 – 31.12.2025.
