At the Day-center in Galati and the Counseling center in Pechea, children from our bursary programs, as well as others, received crucial support to kickstart the school year. Thanks to our donors, we provided clothing, shoes, school supplies, and 95 fully-equipped backpacks to eager young hearts excited to begin school. With the generous donation from Mega Image, we were able to distribute an additional 150 backpacks to diligent Romanian students who faced challenges starting the school year. Moreover, we initiated the process of purchasing books for schools attended by children in our programs and setting up a library in a rural area. Support also for the Ukrainians
We equipped 135 Ukrainian children, aged 3 to 18, with school supplies to embark on a new school year outside of Ukraine. Some are part of kindergarten groups in the centers we manage in Galați and Braila, while others participate in Romanian schools, online courses, after-school activities, and social gatherings. We express our gratitude to one of our enduring programs, Help for Ukraine, funded by CARE-SERA Romania-FONPC, which, in this period, received support from Cargill Romania, UiPath Foundation, and Global Giving for the upcoming months.
